Becoming a dad has been full of surprises—diapers, sleepless nights, and realizing that I cannot keep eating weird snacks for people online forever. So, I figured it was time to try something new: creating stories for kids! That’s how The Nightlight Chronicles came to life.

Inspired by classics like Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark?, these stories are spooky, fun, and just the right amount of creepy for kids ages 7–10. My goal? To give young readers tales that make them giggle, shiver, and maybe double-check under the bed before lights out.

All the stories take place in the fictional town of Whispering Oaks—a small Midwest town shrouded in mystery. Here, the winds have been known to whisper your name, statues giggle when no one’s around, and strange things happen when the lights go out. It’s the perfect setting for tales of mischievous adventures, spooky surprises, and characters you won’t soon forget.

The first episode, “Don’t Eat the School Lunch”, introduces us to Max, a kid who notices something really strange happening at school. Meatloaf days aren’t just gross—they’re downright creepy. Students who eat the infamous school lunch start acting… differently. Max soon discovers there’s more at play than anyone could imagine, and what he finds will surprise you.

If your kids love a little thrill, a little laughter, and a lot of suspense, The Nightlight Chronicles is the perfect new series to dive into. Check out the first episode and get ready to explore Whispering Oaks—where the ordinary quickly becomes extraordinary.
